Controlled Temperature Chambers: Introduction and Mapping Validation
Register for an Upcoming Session
Controlled Temperature Chambers/Units (CTC, CTU) are used throughout the regulated industries in numerous applications to ensure proper storage or growth conditions are met.
In this webinar you will learn about chambers of all types and the regulations from WHO, USP, PDA, FDA, and others, surrounding the need to validate them with temperature mapping and monitoring.
The webinar begins with an overview of chambers and the purpose of temperature mapping including the types and uses of data loggers, which we use to perform this mapping.
Next you will learn specific information about most types of chambers and their uses based on temperature ranges.
We will then discuss the mapping and monitoring of warehouses, which follow a different set of rules from other controlled temperature chambers as well as a concept called Mean Kinetic Temperature (MKT) and how and when to use it.
Finally, we will discuss shipping validation cold chain logistics, which has its own unique requirements and/or tools to map and monitor temperatures.
You will learn and get insights in:
- Introduction and purpose of temperature mapping
- How mapping is performed
- Tools used to perform temperature mapping
- Chamber types from small to large
- Warehouse mapping and why it differs from other chambers
- Cold chain mapping requirements
